[ it sure has been a day. after trial, majima returns to the inn. he doesn't really spend much time dawdling around or hunting down other people to speak with them about... all of that.

it's so rare for him to be the one on the receiving end of comfort... but he isn't complaining. as usual, now that they're here, he puts out his cigarette and leans into their hand.
(in the back of his mind, a small part of him is extremely thankful his experience last week with mutiny and hopelessly devoted wasn't as... messy.) ]

I'm guessing he was actually hit with two. I know that Zoe used "Hopelessly Devoted" on him at the last second to have him... end things more quickly. [ put her out of her misery, but they don't want to be crude about it. They liked Zoe, and it hurts to imagine. ] But I think there was probably some other influence on him, too, to make him even go after her in the first place. Either that, or he was such a good actor that he fooled both of us. I don't know about you, but he was never even close to my suspect list.

[ it doesn't really explain how someone with a phobia as extreme as Guy's was able to get close enough to strangle her, but it at least explains why she had to suffer two different murder methods. Which isn't particularly helpful. The whole thing still feels entirely out of left field. Majima's second question just has Mizuki sighing, tiredly. ]
I don't know. Fabre-kun isn't very clever... But I don't know. I don't know how much of Guy-kun's personality was an act and how much of it was a curse -- if it even was a curse. Maybe that's just wishful thinking. [ they stop stroking his hair, but only to shift their feet and lean down, winding their arms around his shoulders and resting their cheek against his head. ] ... Either way, they're slippery, as usual; they give his shoulders a playful squeeze before pulling away completely, circling around to lean against the porch bannister and face him more properly. ]
